Founded by Divya Jayashankar in 2019, Beachville Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee company based in Chennai, India. Beachville’s commitment to excellence is reflected in its meticulous approach to roasting and sourcing, ensuring customers experience the finest coffee in every cup.

A big part of Beachville’s philosophy is educating people about what goes into their cups. The spaces work to promote coffee education and interaction, with weekly Afternoon Brewing Sessions – from roasting styles to blends, and brewing. Currently, the company focuses on the B2C market with at-home brewing encompassing Single Origin Specialty Coffees, Specialty Coffee Blends, and International Coffee Specialty Coffees, as well as a small selection of Ready-To-Drink (RTD) products.

Quality forms the core at Beachville, with the company handpicking coffee beans from estates across the country. Some of these include Kelagur Heights (Chikmagalur) - which is one of the only estates in India to grow Geisha coffee beans, Nachammai Estate (Yercaud), and Attikan Estate (Biligiri Ranga Hills), along with smaller farms, as well as estates globally like La Esmeralda which provides Colombian Milds, Guji from Ethiopia, and Finca Beti from Honduras. The beans are then roasted fresh at Beachville’s roastery in small batches, each undergoing a strict quality check.

Locations & Specials

Beachville Coffee Roasters has two cafés in Chennai that feature cosy interiors and a community first set up. While the menu features all day breakfasts, and bites to keep anyone satisfied, the stars of the menu are the Cold Shaken Filter Coffee, South Indian Filter Coffee, and Cappuccinos.

Why Specialty Coffee? 

Specialty Coffee, by definition, has a cupping score of above 80%, ranking on parameters such as Acidity, Aroma, Body, Balance, Sweetness.
